I take Zoloft,I take half with my morning protein shake and the other half
with my noon shake. My doctor said to cut them in half.

I took Zoloft for a year before WLS, and take it now post-op, no problems.
I only take 50 mg and never had any difficulty swallowing it, or needing to
change the dose.

Took it pre and post-op, but had a little bit of trouble for about the
first 3 weeks post-op. The broken 100mg pills caused a burning sensation
in my pouch. I could not stomach the liquid version. My solution was to
eat something before taking the tiny 50mg pills (I take 3)...and I then had
no burning sensation. Seems that the Zoloft is happiest in the pouch if it
"lands" on food...but it doesn't like an empty pouch. This is
what I still do today at 16 months post-op, and I never have a problem.
Zoloft has been a life-saver for me, and I'm very glad that I can take it
with no problems. Hugs, Joy
