The only advice I have is, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! The doctor's & nurses
are really great in helping take care of your needs. I started mine about
1/2 hour before going into surgery, yep was in pre-op. I was worried they
would reschedule the surgery, but they didn't. The nurse said that it
happens to allot of people. Good Luck!

I agree with the other poster. If you check the archives you will see that
lots of people have had this problem pre-op, the day of surgery and post
op. You are not alone. Just bring your own sanitary pads to the hospital.
Hospital pads are often the old fashioned kind - huge and they are worn
with a belt.

Don't worry about it! It's the hospital afterall! They deal with way
worse! I am still pre-op, but have had other surgeries during
"inconvenient times". It doesn't matter. You can ask the nurse
about it when you go in if it makes you feel better, but you shouldn't
worry.

Everyone is giving great advice - hopefully mine will be finsihed when I go
in, but when I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago I was right at the
heaviest time. I was so embarrassed, but the nurses were wonderful and
brought me those huge napkins until my husband could bring mine. The only
problem is going into surgery I could not wear underwear so the hospital
pads were good then as they are so big. They have definitely seen worse
and you will not be the first person this has happened to. I know how you
feel, but just keep thinking that it will all be over soon period and
surgery!
