Question:
Is anyone dizzy and feeling like they are spinning?
What could cause this? I am eating good and I am getting enough protein and water. — TARA T. (posted on July 1, 2003)

There could be a multitude of reasons for this. It could be an inner-ear
thing, low blood sugar, and I don't know what else. I had it about a year
and a half ago, and it would happen when I turned my head a certain way or
laid down. I talked to my pcp about it and she couldn't fix it, wasn't an
inner ear infection, so I talked to my allergist about it and he did
something, almost like he threw me to the side and tilted my head just
right and POOF! It was gone. I've had one episode since then, but it went
away on its own. Bottom line, ask your doctor about it, because it could
be alot of different things.

I have experienced dizzyness several times since my surgery three weeks
ago. In the past I have found that I'm really susceptible to dizzyness
whenever I'm sick or recovering from something, so I assumed it was the
same thing this time and took a nasal decongestant (didn't even have to
crush the pills, they're already tiny). Instant relief. Give it a try.
If simple solutions are working then you'll want to check in with your doc.
