I had the same problem at 4 weeks out and I went back on liquids and soft
foods. Stay away from sugars and high starch. Do this fo a few days and see
if that helps. After that eat on ly foods high in protein.

when you had your little one, did you learn lamaze? I found the breathing
exercises to be extremely helpful to me when eating early on. I don't know
why, but I did it when I was pregnant and my tummy got queasy. When you're
eating and feel the queasiness hit, take a few deep cleansing breaths while
kind of leaning back a bit (to stretch you stomach out - your exterior
stomach lol). See if this doesn't help. Good luck!

Are you able to keep food down? Has your capacity for intake diminished? If
yes, contact your surgeon, You may have stricture or the beginnings of an
ulcer. Better to be checked out now than get into trouble, especially if
this is a change for you.

If your nausea is like morning sickness, and only lasts part of the day,
that is a common side effect of surgery. About 30% of patients experience
it. Drink hot herbal tea and eat a couple of saltines before you get out of
bed. It'll help, and the nausea phase will pass. BUT rule out other issues
with your dr. first!
