I've used both, but prefer Splenda....individual taste is what really
matters!

If you are doing a Low Carb/High Protein Diet, then you should not use
Equal...it for some reason goes straight to your joints and can cause a lot
of useless discomfort. I found this info out when on the Atkin's diet
pre-op. I was having a lot of achy joints. When I read one of Dr. Atkin's
books, it stated that Equal or similar sweeteners (usually in the blue
packs) cause the above. Someone else may be able to explain the reasoning,
unfortunately I cannot. I can only tell you from experience that what Dr.
Atkin's stated in his books usually was exactly true. And for me, it was.
I use sweet&low and/or splenda.

Splenda is much better to use since it is made from sugar. You don't want
the stuff in Equal or Sweet n low.

How about using whichever you like best? For me, Splenda and I are not good
friends. :-) Took me a few weeks to figure it out early on, but I finally
caught on. LOL I now use only Equal in my decaf tea and don't have any
problems with it. I have used Equal for years pre-op and enjoy it just as
much post-op. I've never been a fan of the taste of Sweet n Low but if you
like it go for it. Good luck to you!

Use whatever non-caloric sweetener you like. If you like Equal, use
Equal. If you like Sweet n Low, use Sweet n Low. If you like Splenda,
then use Splenda *G*....JR
