Question:
Where can I find cheap swimwear?

Hi! It's almost summer, and I'm 3 months post-op. My old swimsuit is a size 24 and almost falling off. I need a size 20W for now but I know it will be too big before long. Where can I find cheap swimwear (under $30) so I can buy a suit now and then another in a month or two? I've looked at walmart and target, but the sizes and styles just aren't there? I'd love to get a tankini, if the coverage is good (don't want my scar to show). I swim with my kids, so high cut or zippers or wild spotted prints aren't my style. Any ideas? Have you tried ebay? Do a search for a seller called Robins Nest Plus Sizes. She usually has some sporty looking suits. I bought one and LOVE it!

Our local Costco had some Speedo's for about $20 but they only went up to size 18. I'm not there yet but I'm thinking of buying one and just continueing to wear the size 30 that looks like a baggy mess (so do my thighs so they match LOL. Good luck.

i found swimwear at fluffyladies.com through ebay. cost me around $20 and it was nice quality. i plan to go back and purchase another soon as i get ready to go back to warm water therapy pool here in Greeley, CO

I just bought two this morning at TJ Maxx an Anne Klein for $32.00 and a Speedo for $19.99. They are really cute!

Crystal- I need to buy one as well- first time going swimming in years! I think someone mentioned newport news- great idea! I think they have a mix and match section of tankinis and bathing suits for about $20, and they are nice and good quality. They have tank-tops and cute boy-cut shorts as bathing suits as well- so it's full coverage to hide in! I always get their catalogs, but you could try their website. Goodluck to you!

Sams sells speedos for 20 (at least in Louisiana they do). I think they only go up to 18 though.

How about Marshall's or Ross? You can normally find a 1 pc suit for $20.00.
