Question:
How can you get your PCP to give you a referral for a surgeon that is out of net work

My PCP gave me a referral to an out of network surgeon, but would not provide the LOMN, so I changed PCPs. My new PCP will give the LOMN, but not the referral for out of network. I have completed all of my tests, just need to submit to Cigna HMO.    — Karen T. (posted on April 16, 2003)
