Do you mean is it easier to perform surgery without a gallbladder; Is it
easier to lose weight without a gallbladder; or are there no complications
before, during, after without a gallbladder? I didn't have mine removed
and am at goal -- down 170 pounds.

I don't know if this answers your question, but I thought that it was
better to have my gall bladder out prior to or at the same time as the WLS
surgery. The reason is so that I didn't have to worry about problems with
the gall bladder (which occur often after having WLS).
