Question:
Had revision and have been scoped 4 times-anyone else with problems?

I had a revision from VBG to RNY 12-30-02. Failed VBG due to staple line disruption. NOW that same area, which is the opening to my new pouch, wants to close up. First scope was due to stoma but last 2 due to staple line closing back up. It has been over 11 weeks and I think it's closing up again. I am getting frustrated and need to get back to work. Has anyone else had a similar problem and what was your outcome? I need some reassurance. Thanks for your help.    — Kathy B. (posted on March 20, 2003)

Actually my friend's son was scoped a total of 7 times. The last time it held.
