Question:
Has anyone encountered morbid obesity not being covered by their policy?

My United Healthcare policy does not cover morbid obesity. So far my employer is not very encouraging about having it added to the policy. Can anyone out there who has been in this situation help me as to what other options I may have. I really do not have $25,000 the cost at the hospital that I've been considering. Nor do I have a way of getting $25,000.00. Can you possibly tell me what else to do and how to do it. Thanks So Much.
