Does anyone know of a doctor in FL that does lap bands?

I don't know of anyone in Florida but I do know someone is Alabama which is a connecting state. You can contact the office of Dr. Les Miles and Dr. Lee Schmitt at 205-838-3047. Currently Dr. Miles is the only surgeon certified to perform the procedure in the state of Alabama. Dr. Schmitt who has been doing the RNY laparoscopically for 2 years has completed his lap band training with world reknown lap band surgeon Dr. Paul O'Brien and will begin doing the procedure in January 2003. I don't know if this helps but Alabama's not too far away! Merry Christmas!
