Without a doubt CarbSolutions Chocolate Toffee Hazlenut. Second choice is MetRX Protein Chocolate Chip Cooke Dough. Thanks for asking the question. I'll be interested in learning what others like.

Carb Solutions USED to be my favorite and I've tried 'em all. NOW my favorite is DESIGNER WHEY protein bars, all flavors. They are GREAT!! THE BEST place to get them is online. I always get the assorted flavors box. go to http://store.yahoo.com/esupp/designerwhey.html They have the cheapest prices. At GNC ONE bar is $3. Here they average out to be about $1.66 each. They DESIGNER WHEY protein powder is also VERY good .

well, mine is Pure Protein chocolate deluxe, i get them either at GNC during the first week of the month when you can get 20%off, or at food lion, a local grocery chain here in richmond va.....they are just like a chocolate candy bar but very dense and chewy, like a brownie. yummie.....a small bar has 20 gm protein, the larger one has 31 gm.

I recently ate a "Pria" bar bought at Walgreens. I think they are fairly new. It was the first one I ever finished. All the 10 or 15 others I tried, I had a very hard time taking a second bite.

ZONEperfect Bars, especially peanut butter & chocolate. Tastes like a Reese cup. No kiddin'. 16 grams of protein, 13 gram of sugar. I eat 1/2 of one and it satisfies any craving I have. I also love cinnamon apple, lemon yogurt, chocolate graham, chocolate mint, and blueberry yogurt. I have tried them all and this is the best. Little high in sugar but have the perfect ratio of protein (40%), carb (30%) and fat (30%). I don't eat them all the time but when I am in a hurry, they hit the spot. www.zoneperfect.com is the place to get them but Walmart has them for 98 cents apiece. Best price around.

I love Carb Solutions - Mint. I also like the Smore's one at Sam' Club (I can't think of the name right now). But my 2 new favorites are Carbolite- Cookies & Creme and Strawberry (get them at Walgreens). I know the bars are pricey but...I treat them like my candy bars, I eat them for candy subtitudes not really for the protein...that's just a extra benefit!

EAS ADVANTAGE COOKIES AND CREAM--These are very yummy. I get them at walmart, and I just found them at Sams Club. They are cheaper at Sams Club, But you have to buy them by the box there.

Shari-How many grams of sugar are there in the Protein 8 bars? I haven't tried those yet because I haven't seen them. I like the Atkins Advantage chocolate peanutbutter and the chocolate cocoanut ones. I don't like any of the regular Atkins ones.

I just ordered the designer whey bars from yahoo. The price is better than GNC, but only a little. With shipping the total comes out to be about 2.15 a bar. Just wanted to pass this information on.

LUNA- Toasted Nut & Cranberry as well as Peanut Butter & Jelly. HOWEVER.. I am a BPD patient, I do not dump and have a higher capacity than an RNY patient. Therefore the sugars and higher carbs in the Luna are not a problem for me.

Genisoy - Soy Protein Bars are rather good. I have been told that Soy protein is especially good for women. SO far I have tried Chocolate Mint, Chunky Peanut Butter Fudge, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. All are good. 14g protein, about 240 calories (40 calories from fat), 33g Carbohydrates. A nutritionist at a recent WLS Support Group meeting recommended these bars. Cost is about $1.29 each (recently were on sale for $.99 at Giant Eagle - Pittsburgh Pa area).

Absolutely, without a doubt, Carb Solutions Chocolate Toffee Hazelnut. Second runner up is EAS Advantage Lemon Cheescake. Both are yummy - out of the refrigerator.
