Question:
6 months and no hair lose
HI all, Just wanted to let everyone know that Im looking forward to the next meeting and hope to be there. Im down to 286 from my starting weight at 375 in march, however, I feel like im starving to death around 2 hours after I eat. Ive tried all the pouch rules , but still experience hunger. I guess its back to almost normal again. ANyone with knowledge of fat grams and carbs for a daily total that 6 months post ops should have? Oh yea...anyone know why I havnt lost any hair? Im not complaining mind you , but I find it odd that I havnt lost any. I did read somewhere that its not the idea that your not getting enough protien that makes you lose hair , thats its carb restiction that does it...and I do get my carbs in , maybe a little more than I should because I love salsa and the chips. So maybe thats why I havnt lost the hair, because Im not restricting carbs to severly. Well,,,Im off for now and, endurance to all phyllis in Rockwood Tn ----- Original Message ----- — endure2n (posted on September 5, 2002)

Actually, according to my nutritionist, WLS patients should be eating 5-6
small meals a day. That works out to eating about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Just don't eat 6 huge meals a day *G*...JR

I never lost any hair ether. Perhaps it had something to do with my not
giving a bleep, whether I lost it or not. ;)

Every 2 hours sounds about right. But if you're eating ALL carbs, you'll be
"ravenous" instead of "ready". How often do you do
your protein supps? Doing a little protein food with each meal?
