Question:
I have protein in my urine. Will be having biopsy, will this effect my surgery?

Having the biposy will not affect your surgery. But if they find kidney problems from the biopsy, they may hold off on the surgery until they can treat your kidneys. Also, you will want to make sure that you are watched very closely post op...you will go into ketosis, and that can be hard on the kidneys Good Luck!!

I had a biopsy done and all they did was change my med.It helped to lower the protein.Didn't hold my surgery back at all. Good Luck to you.
