I had the same problem when I was first post op. I started taking gasX 3
times a day as a preventative measure and I never had problems with gas
again. I hope this helps. Your Weight Loss Pal,

I am post op (July 8th) and am so glad that you asked this question
because I am also having the same problem. It almost feels as if I can't
properly burp but when I do, it hurts.

I know this sounds crazy, but I am 5.5 months post-op and when I get pretty
bad gas, I *still* feel it in my shoulder. It's subtle, doesn't really
hurt, but I can feel it. Back when I was a new post-op, in fact still in
the hospital, the most incredible pain I had was the gas in my shoulder.
Don't worry, it will go away for the most part...
