It's been over a year since anyone has answered this...

Has anyone had any experience with getting WLS approved through Mega Life insurance? It's insurance provided at many university's in the US.    — Tonya S. (posted on April 19, 2002)

I don't know about the particular insurance you are speaking about, however, all of the student insurance available on my campus does NOT cover the surgery. From my understanding this type of insurance is just to cover small stuff, like colds or a broken wrist...nothing that serious. Good luck in maybe finding a way around this.
