Question:
Can anyone tell me about the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainsville, Fl?

I will be having my WLS at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainsville, Florida, with the sugery being done by Dr. Eric Thoburn. Has anyone had any positive or negative dealings with this hospital and it's staff post op.    — Lonnie I. (posted on April 4, 2002)

I had my surgery done by Dr. Thoburn at North Florida Regional a little over a year and a half ago. I had no real problems with the hospital or its staff. The hospital staff was very helpful, and I made sure to ask plenty of questions when I had them. I also made sure to follow all of my post op instructions while in the hospital (and of course when I got home, too).

HI LONNIE MY GRANDMOTHER WAS THERE FOR SURGERY ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. SHE HAD COLON CANCER AND SHE SAID IT WAS PRETTY GOOD THEY WERE NICE AND TREATED HER NEEDS WELL .
