Question:
Does anyone have post op (RNY) experience with Buspar? How did your pouch handle it?

Hi.. I take Buspar and have for a long time. I started on it again about 3 days post op and have never had a problem with it. Hope this helps.

I have taken Buspar for years. I started it again about 5 days post op without any problems. (they gave me Ativan shots at the hospital for anxiety rather then the Buspar. This didnt seem to bother anything.)

I tried Buspar post op, when all my meds were beig changed around(because of malabsorption issues) I couldn't continue taking it. It gave ne a lot of nervous energy, and I felt very on edge. But, if it works for you, I would go with it. The pills are small, and are made to be broken into pieces. Good Luck, Donna in AL
