You can go view it, but don't read all of the memorials at once and don't
read only the memorials at a time. I did and almost scared myself out of
having the surgery.<P>When you read them keep in mind there are over
60,000 members on this site and about 60 memorials. There are risks
associated with this surgery, but the percentage of people who develop
problems is very small.

I agree with the post that says not to read all the memorials at one time..
It is soo important to remember that fatalities occur just less than one
percent of the time.... which is just about the same stats and those that
are members on this sight.. as you look keep in mind that obesity brings
soo many health risk factors with them into surgery. This is a major
surgery and will have associated risks in and of itself... then add the
issues of obesity. It was funny I did not find this page until two months
post op.... I found my surgeon and hospital on this site but not the
memorial page.. it never would have changed my mind... in fact this last
surgery was the second obesity surgery I went though and I would do it
again.!! My best to you and I hope you find the education you are looking
for.
