Has anyone had surgery done by Dr. Douglas Smego, Stamford,CT

Patricia, I've never heard of that dr. I just had my sugery done with Dr. Elmer Valen in New Haven, CT and he was great. He's been in his own practice about 4 years after studying under Dr. Reinhold who's been doing this for YEARS. He's probably best known in this state for this surgery. He's also Chief of Surgery at St. Rapheal's Hospital in New Haven. I researched this for years and have never heard of this dr. so check him out, make sure he has a lot of experience. I just came home from the hospital yesterday. Unfortunately, I had complications and was in the hospital for 16 days. But, I'll tell ya. I felt better knowing that my doc knew what he was doing.
