Question:
My Insurance requires you to be twice your ideal body weight..for a woman 5'8
how much would that have to be? I'm 265lbs. now with many comorbidities and documented supervised weight loss and nutritional counseling.. — [Anonymous] (posted on September 10, 2001)

i did the BMI calculator thing for you and on here is says ideal weight for
5'8 is 151, but try it out on thrive online or any other website they are
pretty easy to find. i have noticed they all give different numbers, so
maybe you will find one that works for you.

Find out what your insurance comapny uses - the insurance company I work
for uses the standard height weight chart - so a 5'8" women medium
frame would be 140lbs - small frame, minus 10lbs for 130 and large frame
add 10lbs for 150 - you are looking at anywhere from 260 to 300lbs - it
would be best to call and find out exactly what they woudl require for
you.........good luck.
