Question:
Has anyone had to have a Upper GI with small bowel follow through 2 months post opp?

I have never really thrown up since surgery but if I eat to much I feel to full then I burp up some and spit it out but it does not taste bad. This morning I ate 2 ozs of grits at 9:00 and 2 ozs of water later. I felt a full feeling all morning so I felt a burp up coming but when I did I actually vomited and it was dark brown and tasted horrible. I called the doctor because it was so different from anything I have had and he said he wants a Upper GI in the morning at 8:30.    — Regina J. (posted on August 14, 2001)
