Question:
Anyone interested in attending a Pacific Bariatric Support Group Meeting in Los Angel

I am currently trying to persuade Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego to create a Los Angeles Support Group. They have support groups all over California including Sacramento but for some reason have skipped over LA. I know there must be many patients who went to PB after finding that UCLA has a year long wait. If you find that you are a pre-op or post-op patient and are living in Los Angeles or the surrounding communities please let me know. This would be a great resource for our Los Angeles WLS community. I am interested in a Pacific Bariatric Support Group in LA. I am a nurse and will have surgery on Dec. 17. I talked to LaVerne about starting a group myself and she said that I had to be at least 6 months post op.

Christine: Did you know that PB has a yahoo group? You can email that question there and probably get more response. I live in OC and the closest one to me is Santa Ana. That's a good 30 minutes north if there's no traffic so I don't go. Wish I had one closer too. So I wish you luck. S
