I had this for a long while my doctor prescribed Pepcid 2x day , it really
helped. Call your doctor , maybe you are developing an ulcer. Good luck.

Jennifer, I am 3 and 1/2 weeks post-op and still have this problem. I also
wake up so thirsty, but water will make me sick. I suck on a sugar-free
popsicle first thing, or drink warm tea of some type. Takes the edge of the
nausea for me, then I can drink water and have my pureed "meal".
You may want to contact your surgeon. There are many liquid medications
that help combat nausea. I am impressed that you are back to work already.
Don't overdo or wear yourself out! Good luck as you continue on your
journey towards better health.
