Question:
When can you start putting cream and Vitamin E on the incision?

Right away! I did and everything was fine.

My surgeon told me when it stops scabbing is gone I could start to use vit. e or any other lotion I wanted.

I just cannot say enough good things about Mederma. It is a gel you can get over-the-counter at Walmart. Dod an amazing (and fast) job on my scar. I had been using vit. e, cocoa butter, shea creams and nothing worked like the Mederma. My doc now gives a free sample to try. Maybe yours could get for you to try.
