Question:
My doctor found a kink in my intestine, has anyone ever heard of this happening?g

5 wks post op, I had an endoscopy done today and we found that my intestine has a kink in it, causing food not to pass easily through, thus coming right back up. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? If so, what was the solution?    — Chenoah H. (posted on July 24, 2001)

My doctor suspects I have something similar. I'm having troulble with excess bile pooling in my gut and frequently backing up into my pouch, sometimes causing me to vomit bile. I also get killer bile reflux -- bile filling up my pouch, coming up my throat, even getting in my ear tubes and nasal passages. Talk about unpleasant! My surgeon has me scheudled for an ultrasound of my gall bladder. Then we will decide whether or not to proceed with exploratory lap to surgery to find and fix the kink.
