Question:
Stretch Marks - I have a horrible deep purple stretch marks all over my stomach and butt

Is there any kind of treatment that can take this away (lazer) and how expensive? I mean these babies are bad. I am preop and worried for when i am finally thinner.    — Christine A. (posted on July 5, 2001)

I don't know if this will make you feel better or worse! My deep purple valley-like stretch marks look quite different with 95 lbs. gone. All of the skin on my stomach is a bit puckery and wrinkled looking, and the stretch marks now look more like normal scars. Not good, mind you, but at least different. The only fix for them will be having abdominoplasty to remove that damaged skin. -Kate-
