Question:
Need good surgeon in Cali with little wait.

I am looking for a surgeon to perform the Laproscopic Roux en y procedure in Los Angeles area or near. I have an appointment in Novmeber at UCLA but I wanted to see if there were any doctors with a shorter wait (at this rate I won't be able to have the surgery for two years). Let me know! Hello, Christine. My surgeon would likely be able to see you much sooner than that. He does the Lap RNY out of Cedars-Sinai, where my surgery is scheduled for June 29. He has been my surgeon on non-WLS matters in the past and I highly recommend him. Hi There, Try Dr. Wes Powell in Pasadena. I don't have his numerb right now but you can get it from information. They are scheduling for mid july right now, so if all your pre-op testing is done, it shouldn't be a problem. Even if you haven't had all the tests done, it still shouldn't take that long. He's done over 200 laps, so he's very comfortable doing them. BTW he works out of Huntington Memorial Hospital in pasadena. His office is across the street from the hospital-- added comfort should something go wrong.
