Question:
Need to find a surgeon in N.Y. who performs the RNY by laproscopicly

I had successful laparoscopic RNY with Barry Inabnet at Mt. Sinai in NYC. I can't say enough about this fine surgeon. Yesterday (4th) I went for my first post-op visit. He had spent the morning performing surgery live and closed circuit to educate surgeons across the nation on how it is best done. His MA told me he has done it internationally and is recognized as one of the best worldwide. His bedside manner is soft and gentle. He is part of a group of 4 physicians who are pioneers in lap WLS. They can also do BPD/DS lap. They have a website www.surgicallyslim.com You will find no better surgeon anywhere. My surgery was quick and my recovery has been great. There are pre-surgery info meetings and post-surgery support groups. You can get the schedule from the website. They have a terrific nutritionist, Nicole, and I have followed the eating plan she gave me with no problem. Dr. Inabnet--the best!! Good luck!

You did'nt say NYC so I'm assuming you are talking Upstate New York. I had surgery in Rochester by William O'Malley. He does the one you want, however because of my previous abdominal surgeries he apted for the open. But he does do the lap.

Well I'm not really sure what part of NY you're looking for but I am going to dr. homan in white plains. i have my surgery scheduled for july 2nd and all i can say about this dr. is he is very thorough in the pre op process, he makes you feel really comfortable and his associates are marvelous. i highly recommend him.
