Question:
Is the RNY really reversable if medically needed?

My surgeon is internationally recognized for his expertise in the field of
laparascopic WLS, specifically RNY and VBG. He is a board-certified
thoracic, vascular and bariatric surgeon who has been specializing in WLS
since 1994 and has performed over 600 weight loss surgeries. He states
that the RNY is completely reversible by both laparascopic or open
technique if medically necessary.

My surgeon said it is reversible, but it is a very risky procedure as well
especially with other complications going on, but it is good to know there
is an option.

Yes. Two AMOS members just had a reversal - Jim Keithley and Gina Landers.

I'm confused. What I understood of Gina Lander's surgery was a REVISION not
a REVERSAL. The revision was to correct a problem with staple line
disruption and ulcers, not to reverse the surgery. Am I missing something?
