I havent had the surgery yet but I always get hypotensive when I'm
dehydrated. In the winter you need to drink more fluids than normal when
breathing dry air from the furnace or like me, I live in Arizona and with
that dry air more fluids are always needed.

I would like to say thank you to Rachel for answering my question.. To all
the post ops.. if you have problems as mine stated above.. please see your
primary care doctor.. I am experiencing these symptoms as a result of
having a mitral valve prolapse.. and am now wearing an event monitor for
the next two weeks.. to determine the type of arrythmia, if any , that I am
having .
Thanks..
