Question:
how long do you have to wait until you can go swimming inn the ocean?

My doctor says one month before swimming! I know what you mean about loving the beach!! I live in FLorida, one mile from the beach. However, this year the water is very cold!! It still will be in March!

I also live in Florida and on the second week post op my G tube was taken out and i asked my doctor how soon i can get in the water and he said give it atleast one more week, i did and have been to the the beach for times since...tomorrow i will be a month post op. The salt water has actually helped my wounds heal.
