Not a question but just some info.....

Im not a self-pay but during my consult with my Dr. he said that Kettering Hospital offers a global cost for the surgery and they are $13,000 for R-N-Y and $16,000 for the BPDS. Now this does not include the Patholigis and the Cardio which adds any where from $500-600 dollard on top of that......also free follow up care for 6 months and it is that price if you stay in the hospital for 4 days or 10 days.....I have read how much people pay for this surgery and thought it may help out a little......Good Luck    — Tennille (posted on September 30, 2000)

Yea, but I don't think that includes the surgeon fee or the anesthia. I haven't went into price detail - but Dr. Fallang does it at Kettering, and they are charging me 11200.00 hospital, 5500.00 surgeon fee, and 600.00 anesthia and thats only for 4 days hospital if you stay longer then you have to pay more. I'll check and post again later today.

I'm having my surgery, open RnY, on Oct 1 with Dr Fallang.......Hospital dropped fee to $9000.....yippee.......
