Question:
Is there any Doctor close who'll take tricare ins.

My friend would love and needs this weight loss surgery. She has Tricare Ins. which will pay all but about 200 of the cost . She'd like to have Lap but will do open if thats what it takes to find the right doctor. We like in East Tennessee . She was going to use Dr. champion but they demand $5200.00 up front and then the Ins to re-pay her,not them .She is a mother of 5 and like alot of us simply can't afford such a large amount of money up front. I know we can help her find a doctor here with this site! I had lap/rny 4/30/99 and am now at goal in a size 4--6 ,I want this same happiness for my friend. Please help us by replying with any doctors whom you know of close (within 5 hours driving time) from knoxville Tennessee. Hi, is your friend a military dependant? If so she could look at any military hospital in the area, it is my understanding that many of them offer the surgery. If not tell her to try calling the 800 number, and asking a health care finder for a local surgeon that is contracted. Hope this helps!

I have tricare as my 2ndary insur. and Dr Luttrell in Little Rock Ar does accept this insurance. Good luck to you. I had good luck with tricare.
