Question:
Has anyone here had Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Roux en-Y at the Alvarado Clinic?

Though this question was posted in another section of this site, there were no responses. I am considering this surgery and want to hear from people more than a year post-op if possible. Also, I'm 35 and would like to get pregnant at 37 (two years post-op)-- anyone here have experiences I could learn from? Thanks.    — Kaycee L. (posted on July 15, 2000)

Kaycee, I am almost 9 months post-op. I had the Lap RNY done by Dr. Clark. October 25 of 1999. I am doing extremely well with a loss of 102lbs (235->133), can eat most things (except lactose intolerant)and am extremely pleased with the surgery.
