HI THIS IS JUST A LITTLE NOTE TO THE NEWBIES ON THE BOARD. DON'T BE LIKE ME-IT TOOK FOREVER FOR ME TO SEE ALL THAT THIS SITE HAS TO OFFER! I NEVER GOT PAST THE Q&A PAGE. THERE IS THE MESSAGE BOARD AND DON'T FORGET THE SURGERY DATES. EVERYONE HAS A SITE WITH A PLACE FOR POSTING ON YOUR WLS FRIENDS GOING TO SURGERY. THEY EVEN HAVE A CARD FOR ENCOURAGEMENT FOR EACH OF US (THIS WAS A REAL HAPPY SURPRISE FOR ME.) ALOT OF HARD WORK GOES INTO THIS SITE AND I WANT TO THANK EACH OF YOU WHO TAKE THE TIME IN HELPING MYSELF AND OTHERS IN OUR NEW JOURNEY.    — Theresa B. (posted on April 20, 2000)

Thank you Theresa for pointing out what this site has to offer. At times, I don't know what I would've done for worrying myself to death. However, at those times, I knew I could come to the site and view before/afters, post a question, or simply talk to someone in the chat room and I would make it through the rough times. I'm more confident than ever that my surgery will go well. In addition, I have met some WONDERFUL new friends. I want to personally thank Eric for starting this site. I sent him a check yesterday .. just to help keep the site going.
