Question:
Was wondering if there were any hot protien drinks?
I know during the summer those cold shakes were wonderful . Now in Tennessee it's frosty and cold and drinking cold drinks just doesn't hold the same desire for me. Is there any warm /hot protien drinks on the market? Does heat kill protien? I've loked and don't find any warm drinks at our health stores so how about it friends ,any of you know of anything nice and warm to sip on a cold fall evening or a frosty morning that's full of protien and low in sugar and carbs?? I sometimes like to put protien powder (vanilla) in my coffee like a
creamer. It tastes really good and you could even try chocolate to get like
a caapacinno. The heat does not affect the protien. Good Luck!!

Every morning I put three quarters of a cup of coffee into the blender with
a scoop of chocolate protein powder. It blends really well, gets a little
foamy on top like a Cappucino, tastes good. The heat from the coffee
doesn't seem to affect the protein. However, once you've made it, do NOT
put it in the microwave to warm it up. That *will* break down the protein
in a hurry. Eewwww. Looks and tastes nasty!

I would suggest either herbal teas or add designer protien to tomato soup
or another soup. If you can use sweetners add some designer protein to hot
chocolate. It seems to thicken it and when you use the unflavored it blends
with anything. Also, check on soy milk and tofu they both add proteins and
the isoflavones are good for you !
