Question:
Does anyone know if it is hard to get approved through Aetna?

I have Hughes/Aetna, it's a traditional type of insurance, I was approved. My husband works for Direct TV, which is owned by the HUGHES corporation. We had to pay the deductible and they will be paying really well. I would highly recommend calling them as often as you can. It took them about 8 weeks, but I am told it normally takes less then a month to get the information back. They were backlogged when my request was sent in. The wait was worth it! I was approved and I am scheduled for my new life on October 14th! (three more days!!!!!!! ) best of luck! :-)

I Have Aetna Us Healthcare Federal HMO through and I was approved quickly (within day or so) without any known problems. My doctor's office took care of the Insurance company.

I SWITCHED TO AETNA PPO FROM GHP. MY CLAIM WAS SUBMITTED AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS I GOT THE O.K.
