Hi,
I started sleeping on my stomach around my 5th week, and it was heavenly
too. :) Good luck.

Hi---It truly was about 4 weeks until I could turn on my side
comfortably--I'm l0 weeks postop and sleeping on my stomach is still a
little uncomfortable, but I can sleep on my sides easily. Good luck---

It took me about 2 months to be comfortable enough to sleep.

Hi I am 5 weeks post op and lay on my stomach for a very small amount of
time. I either sleep on my side or on my back. This has been a little
difficult because I always slept on my stomach before, but I have gotten us
to it by now.

Goodmorning,
Everyone is different, I am a definite "stomach" sleeper and it
was difficult to get a good nights rest without being able to sleep that
way. My solution .... Lots of pillows ... lying on my side propping my
belly with pillows so it felt as though I was on my stomach. I had a small
tube for the first two weeks which made even that a bit uncomfortable, but
after that was removed it got better and better. Good Luck, and remember
that this is definitely worth a little switching of sleeping position.
Because, now ... if I want, I can sleep in any position I want!

Hi. You can sleep on your stomach just as soon as you are comfortable doing
so. I am a nurse and I also had a RYN 15 months ago. You will not hurt the
incision by sleeping on it. I had to sleep in a recliner for two weeks
after surgery. It was difficult to get up from a flat lying down position.
