Question:
Just my observation but . . . . .
I undetstand a lot of people use Hotmail and Yahoo internet mail accounts so they don't have to give out their personal e-mail addresses, but people please if you use one of these accounts check it once in a while. I have written to many from this site to ask some questions and have only gotten replies from those who use their real e-mail accounts. Seems like everyone using a Hotmail or Yahoo account just got it so they would have something to list when joining this site . . . . please you guys, check your mail, you never know when someone might have written to you looking for help! — [Anonymous] (posted on July 3, 1999)

Let me explain a little something about hotmail, which I use. One thing
about it that really drives me nuts is that if I try to send a message to
someone from anyplace other than hotmail, my household mail server comes
up. This is very frustrating because frequently I want to send email to
someone at a website. I prefer using my hotmail account because my husband
gets about 100 messages a day in the household account. Frequently he
accidentally deletes my lonely message, or I don't know about it for a long
time (since I don't check that mailbox). Most of the time he does forward
messages to me, but whenever I write to anyone, I post the link to my
hotmail address and ask that they reply there. Most of them don't however.
I'm not sure what you're experiencing, but if someone writes to me at my
hotmail box, they will find me. It's the mail to the other address that I
often don't get.

i have a yahoo account that i check daily. i have an aol account that i
check daily. i have several other "free" email accounts and i
check them all daily. most of my mai comes to yahoo. including the
questions from this site. so maybe people check their mail but don't have
responses that they think might be helpful.

I answer all my obeisityhelp.com mail from my hotmail account.
However, some of the posts either don't apply to me or I feel that
the writer of the posts needs a more professional answer than
any I can give. I make no effort to answer those except to
say "contact your physician".
