Question:
Has anyone with BC/BS of Florida Federal have their plastics covered

I am hearing so many different things about reconstructive surgery, specifically at this time lower body lift. Has anyone with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida Federal have their insurance pay for part of all of the lower body lift. I have lost 177 pounds. Any and all info on this would be appreciated. Probably the best "first" thing to do is to call your insurance company and see if they have benefits for plastic surgery. The more documentation you have, the better, including letters from your bariatric surgeon, primary care physician, plastic surgeon. There needs to me a true medical indication for your insurance company to pay for the surgery, such as chronic skin irritation, rashes, hernia etc...
