No, not really. If they have to remove any polyps, you may experience SOME
bleeding, but not much. Abdominal pain, perhaps, but they'll give you
something for that!! Hope this helps you!

The preparation is the worst part of the colonoscopy. The test is painless.
If they find a poloyp they take care of it right then you might get some
minor bleeding and slight pain but basically it's a snap. Don't worry. Jan

I had my first post-op colonoscopy in Feb., but it was my 3rd in 8 years
with this doc (my Dad died of some form of cancer in the abdominal region,
so we're playing it safe).
I just made sure she got a copy of my surgeon's surgery notes on my RNY
& confirmed with her face-to-face right before sedation that she'd read
them & was aware.

PS Since this was my 2nd-in-a-row polyp-free procedure, I don't have to
have another for 5 years, YAY!
