Question:
Home Depot part time insurance
Hi everyone, I have seen it posted many times about Home Depot insurance covering wls without too much trouble so I have applied and been offered a part time job at Home Depot. (To all others, they need people for office work, phones, cashiers etc in addition to lumber and heavy stuff.) My question is...does anyone know how long you have to work part time at Home Depot before you are eligible for health insurance? Thanks in advance. Leslie — Leslie S. (posted on May 23, 2005)

I believe that their Ins is effective the day you start, but
do not know how long you have to be employed before they will consider the
surgury. I am sure you could ask the Ins.
carrier and find out. Good Luck in your quest.

Your best bet is to ask your benefits person about this. Most places
require that you be employed at least 30 days before you are covered by
their insurance. Also many places don't cover PT employees. Although some
do. So just check this out as well.
