Question:
Has anyone returned to scuba diving

Someone in my support group is a suba teacher. The only thing she said is that she wants a thicker suit because she get colder than before. Go to wlsbutterflynetwork.org/ and ask this question to KIM A. Just put the www in front and then go to the message board. Robin W

I have started my open water cert. and have not had any problems so far. I have done the academics and confined water dive. Now I just have the 4 open water dives left.

my sister had wls 5 yrs ago. she took up diving after that. she is now an avid diver and leaves next week for a dive vacation near venezuala. she plans every vacation around diving and loves it. as for me, i stuck to such new sports as four wheeling, horseback riding and shopping after my wls :) patsy in las vegas

no problems here - am 7 months out and did a refresher with my instructor and felt great! I am actually off to Cabo on Wed for 3 days of diving and am very excited to get back into the water!!! also, getting ready to take my rescue diver classes - in other words - if you feel good, go for it, it will only make you feel better!! and it is amazing the better you can move and it is nice to use less weights to sink - hehe Jan RNY 12/29/03 - 295/205/160
