Any kind of cheese but particularly sharp, hard cheeses, mixed nuts, and
any kind of meat or poultry. Fish doesn't seem to last as well as beef or
poultry.

A serving of turkey pepperoni (roughly 17 pieces), 1.5 string cheeses, and
a handful of goldfish crackers. For some reason, that quick-snack combo
has worked for me for over a year now. Often, it takes less of that combo
to do it.<P>If I have a couple of minutes, it's a cheese omlette made
with egg beaters, with mushrooms added if I'm really hungry, without if I'm
not.

Um, that's one-and-a-half string cheeses. Not 1-5, or
fifteen.<P>Durn. WLS is not helping my eyesight one bit.

Well, believe it or not, Beef Jerkey. I'm not a big fan of it. But, I
know if I'm having a hungry day, I can nip it in the bud with some beef
jerkey.

Beef Jerky is my hunger stopper. My doctor says most any protein will
satisfy your hunger but beef jerky works well for me. I use my kitchen
shears to cut it into bitesized pieces and put it in little manageable
sized bags and keep it in my desk drawer at work.

Any foods high in protein last longer - but you really should work on that
head hunger. Ignoring it and eating will only make you sick and slow your
weight loss. If you must eat, munch on healthy foods, like fruit or whole
grain crackers (triscuits). That's what I do when I want to munch. Good
luck!

Denser foods stay longer. So, of course, any dense protien like already
mentioned, but I find that lightly cooked veggies stay with me awhile.
Things like brocolli, string beans, spinach leaves and such work well for
me, too. Also, a Zone Perfect protein bar stays awhile.
