...N-on S-teroidal A-nti I-nflammatory D-rugs...
Typical are: ibuprofen, indocin, diclofenac, relafin, arthrotec. AMONG
MANY OTHERS. They are drugs used to treat arthritis. They are used for
other things, but I am un aware for what. If you are taking a drug that
states "do not take with a NSAID, then do call your pharmasist, and
inquire whether or not ANYTHING you are taking might be a NSAID. Even
over-the-counter drugs and "herbals" mighthave NSAID in them.
You never know. So check, ask, and be on the safe side.
Best Regards

As a general rule, the no "NSAIDS" is a good one. They are harsh
on the pouch and can cause irritation and worse (ulcers and bleeding) if
used on a daily basis. However, the occasional short term use of NSAID
should not be overlooked. Some surgeons/PCPs will allow short term use of
NSAIDs for their patients. As always, discuss with your doctor.
