What are you eating, if you are on a liquid diet that would be the reason
if you were on soft food then I would call the doctors office

Like the previous poster recommended, contact your surgeon just to be sure
since you don't want to get dehydrated. I had this problem, too. It turned
out to be my body's reaction to the strong antibiotics I was given in the
hospital.

In a word - yes, especially if you are still on a liquid diet it is very
normal. I was told once I got to having pureed foods it would improve and
it did. Open RNY 5/7/03 241/156/130

I had watery stools for about 3 weeks and loose stools for about the first
3 months. It slowly gets better. Keep pushing those fluids!

Any pain or cramping? Might be lactose intolerance? Having our bowels just
be "odd" is normal, actually, and it can go either way. But if
you are doing a milk-intensive diet or even juice, both are sugars and can
cause a big mess. You could test it by not doing those for 24-48 hrs and
see. Of course, you'd still be doing water

This is normal. As you advance your diet, things will change. While you're
in the liquid stage expect a watery bm.

Water go in - water must come out - you are on liquids if you pass more
than liquids at this stage - then I would say WORRY!
