YES! This petition is still active! My sister was the one who started it, and like all good things it takes time. We spoke to a White house intern that said, to present a petion to congress you must have a minimum of 5oo,ooo signatures. We've tried to spread the word but mostly it is up to the people who sign it to get the word out. Because we all know this can save live. It did mine. 2 months post-op, down 47 lbs. I wish everyone could have the same opportunity as I did. Thanks to all who signed, please pass the word!!!
