Question:
For the last couple days, when I drink, I feel pain in my stomach.

I would call it more of a discomfort than true pain. I can feel the water going thru me--amost like a slight burning/cramping feeling. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Thanks..........    — barbara A. (posted on January 14, 2004)

Barbara, Call your Dr for an appt. It can be many things which are not a problem, when I couldn't drink water I found out I had h.pylori which was cured with antibiotics and prevacid.

I went through that not to long ago. My Dr did a scope on me and there was no ulsers or staple line disruptions, so then he told me to take a Prevacid in the morning and that helped. He said it was spasms that had no explanations.
