Question:
Anyone 5'5 start at 320 ?
I have lost 76 1/2 pounds at 4 1/2 months. I hope to make it too 100 by 6 months. I wondered how anyone else with similar stats did at 4 1/2 and six months. — Stacie B. (posted on November 20, 2003)

Hi!! First, CONGRATS on your awesome weight loss!! I'm 5'6" &
started out at 320. I lost right around 100lbs at 6 months. I'm now at
148lbs ( -162lbs, 22 months post-op, size 8/small!! ) & NEVER dreamed
of getting UNDER 200lbs when I started out! I've found that this journey
does require patience at times, but remember we didn't get to 320lbs
overnight!! :) The weight lost usually slows down after 6 months but try to
stay on track, follow the "rules" & you'll do great! Laurie

Hi! I am 5'4 and weighed 304 on day of surgery.. but went as high as 320. I
lost 113 by 6 months and now at 9 months post I have lost 142 lbs with 13
to go. I am wearing loose 12's, almost in size 10s at 162 lbs. My weight
loss has remained consistent. Good luck!

Hi Stacie!
Let's see... I am 5 foot 3.75 inches tall, and weighed 365 lbs at surgery.
I lost 105 lbs by the 6 month mark. I'm 16.5 months out now, and am down
185 lbs.
Blessings,

5'5 339. I am at 259 now. I have lost 80 lbs. Next week will be 5 months
for me. Although secretly I think it is a slow loss, by doing the math, I
know that is in on the perfectly average rate of loss. Not slow and not
fast. I hope to lose 100 pounds by 6.5 months. but hey, I'll take what I
can get considering average loss at 6 months is 50-100 pounds.
